Decision Models as Guardrails

raxIT Labs benchmark of Jev 1.13.0 and 1.14.0, 16 other decision models, and Amazon Bedrock Guardrails on the same 9,975 labelled guardrail checks (content, direct and indirect prompt attacks, denied topics, profanity, PII, and grounding); each check is a typed yes/no question blocked at one fixed 0.5 threshold, scored on balanced accuracy with 95% bootstrap intervals and USD per 1,000 checks at list price, and version 1.0.0 reports 88.7 for Jev 1.14.0, 90.4 for the Perplexity Decisions API, and 79.0 for Bedrock Guardrails. Per-row results, the scoring contract, and run scripts are public; the code is Apache-2.0, a 2,269-row contamination-check slice is held back, reproducing sends the rows to each paid provider, no model gets a calibrated threshold, and raxIT Labs built and ran the benchmark itself.
